How lame is that?

The scene in Forest Gump where his mum dies and then when his wife dies : (

My favourite film of all time is 'Angels with dirty faces' Starring James Cagney and Pat O'Brien, and you have to see the film to appreciate the ending.

In short, it starts with them both as young boys, robbing a railroad, the police are called and the boys run away, the character played by Pat is faster and gets away, that of James Cagney is slower and gets caught.

Pat's character grows up to be a priest, while James's a gangster (No surprise there then) and eventually goes to the 'chair'. His last visit is from his old friend 'the priest'.
