You should read the book....you may have more appreciation for it if you do.
the way his insanity sneaks up on his family. he is typing away for hours and u think he is really getting the book done.
bc it's supposed to be scary. i think stanley kubrick made much better movies. i didn't think it was that scary to me :(
It's a matter of taste. If you don't like it, that's too bad, b/c it's really amazing. I can see how you would think it was boring b/c it's quite slow paced.
