Good movie but I wouldnt quote any of it historically.
I enjoyed it. Mel Gibson did a great job with this film, and he brought the declining Mayan civilization to life. The characters were so authentic. I did have one minor problem.
SPOILER ALERT.....
First, I dreaded the part where the woman gave birth,it seemed like way too much.
I Thought it was fantastic. The lack of dialogue was just what it needed. If you compare it to a movie very similar but extremely bad, Pathfinder, you will see how much of a great job Mel Gibson did directing this.
found it interesting ,but would not have paid to watch in a theater
The special effects were pretty good, but it was a bit to bloody.
