Is this a good movie idea?!
Question: ok a college dropout has a minor degree in elementary teaching and takes a job as a 2nd grade teacher because his parents refuse to send him any more money because he was bein lazy . He treats the kids very strange and its suppose to be funny. One day he takes his kids on a feild trip to go skatin when he actually takes them to help clean out his apartment. When they are done cleaning he actually takes them skating but he does not pay any attention to them. While he wasnt paying attention one kid left the skating rink and was beat up and had his money stolen from him. The teacher had just started seeing a woman that he really liked who happened to be that boys mother. The woman kind of ended things with the teacher after this. The rest of the story the teacher is trying to actually learn how to teeach the class to win his woman back.
I know its kind of rusty but i just came up with it today and i wanted to see if anyone liked it. give me your honest opinions.

Okay - you need some things:
A story in 3 'acts':
* Act 1: Birth of the Dream
* Act 2: Death/Loss of the Dream
* Act 3: The Dream Reborn or Regained
Tension between a 'good guy' and a 'bad guy'
A mounting conflict of that tension that is resolved in Act 3.
A possible love interest angle
Everyone gets what they deserve (if he doesn't watch the kids, he has to suffer, for example.)
Tons of snappy humor
A plot twist or two.

kinda reminds me of school of rock a little. but not to bad
Kinda quirky, but certainly no worse than a lot of the crap that the studios have been pushing out. If stuff like Over Her Dead Body, Blonde Ambition, and The Hottie and The Nottie can get made, then certainly yours deserves a chance. It actually doesn't sound bad, if done right. Not sure what steps to take to get it sold, though.
its a good story but i think you should take out the part about the kid being mugged or make it evolve into something like the teacher got in trouble or something like that
