A sleeper called Hard Candy. It will make a man squirm,though.

Go see "I am Legend". It's a bit of both horror and action.
For action it is Die Hard all the way. All 4 of them are good but the best is the original.
sunshine was cool, last man on earth, anything with steve mcqueen, boondock saints, AIRPLANE!!!, older movies are where its at newer stuff just blows
The recent horror movie "30 Days of Night" had a lot of action, horror and jumpy parts. I would strongly recommend it along with "Death Proof" and "Planet Terror" (in theaters it was a double feature called "Grindhouse").

Rambo (4) that's currently in theatres is a great action movie if you can handle the extremely blood violence.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
