I was watching the titanic the other day and realized....?!

Question: Was Jack sick or something??? because I remembering watching this movie and he was talking about being in cold water before. and thinking that she should have died from the cold first. Don't you remember before the car scene he's like: it's really cold in here... and then he was trembling in the car. (from the freezing cold hopefully...) & then when he was first in the water he was like **** **** cooold. lol. I'm just wondering if those things were on purpose or just a coincidence. I love that movie.... lol.

He talks about when he was ice fishing with his father and fell into the cold water and what it felt like. Maybe he knew his fear of cold water would kill him in the end literally.

they were in the middle of the atlantic(in the movie)
so it was probably just the weather, not him being sick.

No,they were shivering because they were on deck,at night,in the cold North Atlantic with no overcoats on.At the end, when Rose is laying on the door in the sub-zero temperature,Jack is actually IN the water, dying of hypothermia. I know people carp about Titanic, but I liked it(I bought it on vhs)the love story was held the whole thing together and the action sequencesIthey finally ogt how the ship went down, breaking in half)right and the last 20 or so minutes are truly gripping

He was cold because... it was freakin' cold. The cold if you recall was in the holds of the ship... most likely below the waterline. And they don't generally heat that area.

As for the water... well, there were giant chunks of ice floating in it. You think the ocean was pleasently warm or something? Most of the people who died on Titanic didn't drown. They froze. XD
