Eh, Tom Bombadil?
UGH, that awful character, Tom Bombadil. I really disliked that character in the book and thought it was unnecessary and so out of touch with the rest of the book that it seemed surreal. I agree with "Bored of the Rings" by National Lampoon. I was never so glad that a character was cut from a film (JarJar Binks notwithstanding) as when Peter Jackson made that decision! (I also disliked Tom's woman, Huckleberry, or Thistleberry or whatever. I can't help it, they were just both so awful...
