Why do you think these movie lines were considered some of the "worst"!

Question: Yahoo recently came out with a list of the worst movie lines, and one of them was from Ever After: "A fish may love a bird, but where would they live." Does anyone think this is a bad line? To me, it was clever, and got the point across.
Another is "You complete me" from Jerry Maguire. It's a little cheesy, but fits the romantic nature of that plot. It's also widely acknowledged as a classic line. Why do you think it was on the list?

shame on yahoo for making something from ever after a bad movie line! maybe the cheesy line of you complete me is over the top but it fills in holes for romantic movies

>.<

I like both lines as well, clever indeed.

i think the "you complete me" was voted one of the worst because you shouldn't have to depend on someone else to make you feel "complete"

I don't think those are bad lines either. They are really sweet and they make sense to me.

Maybe they were chosen as the "worst" because of how they were said. They all sound cheezy but what would romantic movies be if they didn't have any clever and cheezy lines thrown in the mix.

Some people just don't know good romantic movies....
