Did anyone else hate the HOSTEL movies?!

i didnt hate it... but i was sick.
and i dotn really dig gore
Big build up and a bigger let down.
i thought it was a bit let down really no story to it whatsoever i thought saw was a better film
seeing as how i own both i am sorry but i defiantly disagree, the movies are about survival, but the end to the second was well pretty great.
the concept is sick but in true honesty, that type of thing really happening is scary, not that you could become a victim but that people would actually pay to torture someone. then what would you pay to get out, what would you do to escape. and into conspirecy and how far somethings reach and how much a threat one person can be to an organization, so large with so many involved that goes up into such high ranking goverment, one person can bring down corruption.
I kinda liked them. I like splatter movies and the Hostel movies had a pretty interesting concept.
I like the second one better. I just liked the concept, but you get more of that story in the second one.
I liked the movies. I didn't love them though. And I totally understand if you didn't like them. I definitely agree that they are overrated.
I agree...there were so many opportunities for them to turn around, and they played overly dumb...it was annoying but I was surprised at the plot twist - I thought they were going to be hunted for fun, not killed for organ harvesting. Otherwise it was pretty lame.
I like them both.....
