What was sadder in the movie "I am Legend?" the part where the dog die!

When the dog died. That movie was sad as hell., and that was the only reason it was. I couldnt enjoy the rest of the movie after that.

Definitely sadder to see the dog die for some reason. I didn't care much for that movie though, wasn't really what I was expecting.
For all the people conplaining about it spoiling everything, common sense tells you in the 1st sentence what is about if you don't want it to spoil the movie, don't read on.......The real spoiler was the fact that I watched this whole movie...

I was definetly sadder when the dog died. You get to know the dog better than you know his wife and daughter. Also, you realize that the dog was his best and only friend, and he had to kill it himself. That would be tough for anyone to do to their animal, much less their only living friend in the world.
The dog. The family you only got glimpes of and so you really didn't know then as much as you knew the dog.

WHATS REALLY SAD is this crappy movie is still being talked about and made like 200 million! I watched " The HOST" a Korean flick and it was BETTER SCI-FI than legend and ccccccloverfield COMBINED.

the dog, coz the scene was alot more involved and u honestly feel sorry for will smith, as he thought that he would be completely alone forever. the family dying was just a flashback, and much tooo quick to make u feel sad.
The dog, firstly, you had more time to grow attached to the dog's character. Secondly, the dog was more believeable, lets face it, the dogs playing that dog all deserve an oscar. Lastly, its easy to feel compassion for a dog because dogs are so obviously innocent and pure.
