Who was the best movie Dracula?!

Question: Take your pick. Max Schreck, Bela Lugosi, John Carradine, Christopher Lee, Jack Palance, Frank Langella, Klaus Kinski, Gary Oldman, Marc Warren... and many others. Who was the best of all time?

And (perhaps a separate question) which is the best Dracula movie?

This is a very subjective question for many reasons.... Christopher Lee has always been seen as the "classic" Dracula figure.... Klaus Kinski is just a "freak". So, to me, he's one of the more scary Dracula figures. But, since Bram Stoker's Dracula is my favorite Dracula movie ( due to the story-line, directing, and the special effects), I guess that would also make Gary Oldman the best Dracula.... But, I can't help but wonder how the other two would fair in the exact same role/movie.... Hmmm.

I like Gary Oldman personally, and that version of the Dracula movie.

George Hamilton in "Love at First Bite"
Or Bela Lugosi.

I agree with Shimmy. Love at First Bite was a great movie. "I'm a black chicken!" But i did like Gary Oldman.

Either Bela Lugosi or Christopher Lee

Personally I loved Gary Oldman's portrayal of Dracula.
I couldn't take my eyes off him during that movie.

i am still going to have to say bela lugosi was the best dracula.

as for the best movie, i rather liked dracula 2000.

I'm a fan of Gary Oldman, so I'm sort of partial there.
It's hard to pick the best Dracula movie, because I love the book, and there are no versions that are even close to the book. I was actually angered that the one with Gary Oldman in it called itself "Brahm Stoker's Dracula", because it WASN'T *Brahm Stoker's* Dracula. Brahm Stoker's Dracula was a purely evil character, and the movie version was sympathetic. But if I had to pick one, I guess I'd pick that one, because it was the most entertaining of all of them. The worst thing about that version was Winona Rider, and Keanu Reeves, whose performances were so bad they virtually ruined the film. I'm sorry, but those two can't act. And they were pathetic with the fake British accents.

Bella Lugosi was great. I also really liked Gary Oldman. He was kinda sexy.

the gary oldman , was the best up to date dracula - the old is the best too.-bela lugosi.
