If Netflix sends a broken DVD do you have to return it?!
Question: I got an unplayable scratched DVD sent by netflix, but I thought I might as well use it as a wheel for a school project (mouse trap car)

yeah, you still have to return it..but if you call them and tell them that it is scratched and unwatchable, then you get a refund of your money and get a new movie
no you have to send it back so there is proof that it is damaged.
I say you call them and DEMAND a new movie. Don't return the scratched one. You're the customer, build that mouse trap car!
Yeah, you probably should return the broken DVD. You could always use a CD that's no longer playable.... or a new blank CD for your school project. I like your creative thinking!
I have Blockbuster online and a DVD came in the mail completely demolished. I just went to the website and there's a section where you can tell them you got a broken DVD and they'll just send you the next one on your queue. I didn't have to send anything back.
