Pick a film for me?!

Question: Please can you pick a film for me.
The tricky part is that i have seen a hell of a lot of films, even some of the most unheard of foreign films. Please do not throw up names of Hollywood blockbusters as it will be a complete waste of time.
Independents and foreign (but not all the well known ones)
I love movies that make you think really hard, not plot twisters as i always get them without fail, but more things like: mythology, mystery, offbeat, supernatural (not cheesy crap), philosophy.
Deep and spiked with meaning.
Obviously this is not a movie but TV wise i am a Lost addict -- i love the unknown, not knowing a thing and having to piece it together like a puzzle every week.

With all that in mind can pick a film for me to watch tonight or tomorrow?

Thank you.

If you are anything like I am, watch:

:: Gone Baby Gone ::
Like you, I can predict plot twists a mile away, but I didn't see the last one coming in this one for a long time. It is also one of the finest pieces of acting I have seen to date, and it really made me question the true merit of always "making the right decision."

:: Crash ::
Fantastic dichotomy of the contemporary perils and triumphs of our fucked up nation. I am sure you have seen it, but its worth watching for the social commentary at least twice.

:: Gattica ::
One of the finest (and most underrated Sci-Films) ever made. The creepy thing is that we are closer to this age than we think.

:: Children of Men ::
I can't think of another movie that moved me the way this one did. The director's ability to seamlessly mesh several scenarios into one long uncut continuous camera motion was breath-taking to say the least. More importantly perhaps, was the fact that it brought me to tears thinking about the things we take for granted in life.

:: The Last of the Mohicans ::
Daniel Day Lewis has made 4 movies in the past decade. Adn with good reason. This is one of the greatest works in portraying the American Indian tribes (specifically the Mohicans). It's also one of the most thought-provoking movies of the 90's. The ending is a tad cheesy, but it still lives up to the rest of the movie.

:: Far & Away ::
Tom Cruise (when he was sane), and Nicole Kidman (when she was talented). I can't really say much without giving most of the plot away. Suffice it to say if you haven't watched it yet, you should. It's spectacular.

:: 21 Grams ::
If you haven't seen this, forget this list, stop reading the other answers, and Go. Rent. This. Now.

I hope this helps.

"Primer" or "Dead Man's Shoes".

40 year old virgin?

Just kidding. Funny Games is good if you like a good horror, or Dekalog for brooding Polish communism, or The Motorcycle Diaries for soul-searching wistfulness.

Try the Hitchcock's collection, i love The Rear Window! It's old i know, but it keeps you thinking and keeps you on the edge of your'e seat.There's just so much going on.
