Realistically I have many favorites for many reasons. Merry and Pippin for their insurmountable joy and playful natures even when sitting on the edge of ruin. Eowen for her strength, her beauty and her sadness. She is by far my favorite female character. Aragorn for many obvious reasons (more so if you've read the book). He was the only one able to turn the palantir away from Sauron's eye (pretty much called sauron his B*tch at that point as well.....damn you pj). But favorite of all is Gandalf. For more reasons than I could list in this one tiny little post.
