1. I have not seen this film.

2. I liked this one, mainly because it is an old classic horror and was very original at the time. Obviously big improvements could be made these days though, on everything, not just special effects.

3. Another classic, but not the scariest movie I have ever seen. The uncut version is a bit scarier. If I think about it though, it must have been really scary for the time it came out. I do like this film, but it's not one I would watch often.

4. Not seen.

5. I haven't seen all of this film, but I know it is supposed to be good.

6. Brilliant film! Jack Nicholson is great in this film, I find it genuinely scary and clever at the same time. Not just a standard horror film because it makes you think.

7. I love psychological horror films and have seen all the Hannibal Lector movies. This one is in my opinion the scariest of them, it still creeps me out when you see the nails on the wall of the well that the woman is trapped in!

8. Could have been better, the acting wasn't great and the special effects weren't brilliant. It didn't go along with the games very well but I suppose it is entertaining enough.

9. A great concept for a film that someone could mess with you in that way but I still think it could have been better, I haven't seen the sequels to it because I heard they got worse and worse.

10. Halloween is another classic, brilliant when it was made and it doesn't matter even now that there were no great effects. I find films with less blood and gore more terrifying. I have not yet seen the re-make of this but have heard it's actually quite good.

11. I loved this film, the acting was rubbish, even Johnny Depp could have been better, the effects were terrible but it is such an entertaining film to watch.

12. This one could have been better, it uses second class actors which I think was one of it's biggest mistakes. I didn't find it very scary at all, just gross.

13. I got about 10 minutes in to the film and turned it off, I found it extremely boring.

Wow, sorry I wrote so much. How come you only put horror movies?

the shining is scary but i like it.i also like friday the 13,saw,halloween,the exorcist.

"Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" was a great movie, not necessarily scary, but it's fun to see how effed up that lady was. "The Birds" scared the crap out of me when I was 7 or 8, but when I grew up, I saw how cheesy it was. "Exorcist" is usually regarded as one of the scariest movies of all time. I didn't think it was so much scary as just creepy. For me, the scariest movie of all time would be "The Shining". "Halloween" and "Nightmare" were scary when they were made, but again, by todays standards, they are kind of hoaky.

The most suspensful move I have seen lately is "I Am Legend" and that is better than most of these movies, classics though they are.

Alot of good old movies but ( don't drink the water )
