B&w classic sci-fi movie title?!
Question: I'm trying to find the title of an old 50's or early 60's sci-fi about a post-nuclear radioactive blob from within the earth. In the plot they try to seal the cavern it comes out of and goes back into with cement but the creature just burns it's way through it. I believe the creature was stop frame animation and looked like a blob of mud, almost like a meatloaf shape. I was very young when I saw it. I have wanted to add it to my collection for years. I've asked many vendors at sci-fi conventions about it to no avail. I hope someone can help!!

This is not "the Blob", that one came from outer space, and in any case it wasn't radioactive, and the flick was in color as well.
My mom has fragmented memories of this one. Hmmm...
