Excellent story and plot. Alan Autry did great on his first time directing. Characters were down to earth and realistic. The best scene in the movie is when Jake finally "listens" to God and helps the townspeople. The ending of the movies was a perfect set up for a new series. I wish this was a book so more of Jake's background could have been seen.
