How can you remove or lessen scratches on a disk's surface for a normal hous!

Question: you can get kits in just about any store that will restore light scratches on a CD. Or if you don't want to spend 20 bucks, get yourself a bottle of armor all (its basically the same stuff in the kit). Coat the CD with a thin layer of it and let it dry. Then with a terry cloth wipe off the excess. If the scratches are deep it won't work as they may have pierced the foil coating that contains the encoding.

windex helps lessen the scratch

Smooth peanut butter (not crunchy).

Simply wipe on gently and remove with coffee filter paper.

First just blow on it then rub it on a soft cloth. Make sure you wipe from the middle going out though. Also, you can get a fine powder like baking soda and rub it on it, then wipe it off. There are also machines that can be bought.
