Should Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows be rated R?!

Question: I understand that if it was rated R then a lot of the fans wouldnt get to go see it but it its not rated R then they might leave out a lot of huge parts in the book(even though they always do). I want the last movie to be amazing because its the end of all the excitement....and i dont want them to leave out major details to get a lower rating...

I can't see why they would. The only part that was violent was Dobby getting knife'd. The rest of the killing (by magic) has been done already in the past movies with it still being within PG-13 range.

I didn't read any parts that seemed R rated in the book , or in any of the books for that matter..

It might be because of a lot a violence and "thematic elements," but somehow I doubt that it will be since so many younger people read the books.

I think they shouldn't risk losing any of the intensity or the details...fans would call it a rip-off and be extremely annoyed with Warner Bros...Most parents would know that Harry Potter would be appropriate for children no matter the rating...they can't add content without calling it a parody and being sued for copyright infringement...Leave nothing out WB!! ;-)

nah i don't think it warrants an R rating.
but i think it should have a warning for young children so that parents stop sending little kids into the cinema, or putting it on for little kids and letting them watch it unsupervised coz they think its a kids film it just isn't. these books have grown up with a generation young students who are now adults and wanted more from harry. and i am tired of having kindy kids coming in and being terrified of harry potter. some parents need to be taught what to show their children or at least to watch films with them and explain it or turn it of if the child gets scared. then that way we wouldn't have to worry do much about ratings hey?
