Question: The Dark Secret of Harvest Home is the only thing I can find with a similar title. It was a 1978 TV mini-series. It starred Bette Davis, Dan Ackroyd, and Rosanna Arquette.
The plot outline is : A young couple moves to a quiet New England village, only to soon find themselves mixed up in mysterious rituals.
So far it has never been released onto DVD, but a VHS format is available on the "new and used" section of Amazon.com, however the price is ranging for $35.99 to $120.00

Is it this one: Harvest Home (1995) about a long-standing and bitter sibling rivalry between disparate sisters. This rivvalry provides the basis of this melodrama from Filipino filmmaker Carlos Siguion-Reyna? I checked Amazon.com and they don't have a copy. Sorry! You may be able to find a VHS of it.. (I have one).. but it's edited due to legal issues.
The guy who played the daughters boyfriend refused to sign something.. basically making them edit out half the movie.. so, if you go about finding the VHS they released.. you end up paying like $60 or more for a movie that really sucks.. they took out everything that made the story cohesive.. including the scene on the front cover .. (With Tracy Gold with blood all over her hands)..
There is currently no thought for a DVD release, as they haven't found a way around the legal problems..
Oh, and it's actually called The Dark Secret of Harvest Home.. (the book was titled simply Harvest Home)
