Who ARE........

But I digress. Tom Hanks is a phenomenal actor. His best role was probably in "Saving Private Ryan" but many people would say his greatest role was "Forrest Gump."

Harrison Ford is an accomplished actor who is very famous for his 3 (4th one on it's way) "Indiana Jones" movies and for the original 3 "Star Wars" movies where he played Han Solo.

Clint Eastwood is a terrific actor and director. He made wonderful Western movies early in his career, including "The Outlaw Josey Wales," "High Plains Drifter" and "Hang 'Em High." He then went on to make "Dirty Harry Callahan" a household name in the '70s.

tom hanks is in polar express harrison ford is in starwars and clint is in country western movies

You can look them up on the internet and find out more than we could tell you here.

that is like studying the history of music and not knowing who Parliament was.

go to imdb and look them up. then start watching some movies.

If you don't watch many movies and have no idea who those actors are, why may I ask do you want to study film? Otherwise, look up their names on imdb.com

by the way for someone who wants to study film, you dont know much about it!!!!!! you cant fake ur way through life

In order to study at Harvard, one needs to learn where to find one's information. Your generation has the internet...the world is at your finger tips. Try Google.com and enter those three names, and here's a few more to tuck into your note book:
Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Becall, John Wayne, and I could go on and on.
I'm ready for my close up now, Mr Deville.

harrison ford made the indiana jones movies. and the jack ryan character was his too. clint eastwood made alot of cowboy flicks and all the dirty harry detective movies. tom hanks did some comedy, like big, and some serious roles like castaway. all three guys are good actors in my opinion.

Tom Hanks is one of my favourite actors- my favourite film is forrest gump but hes also in Saving private ryan, philladelphia, sleepless in seattle, big, turner and hooch, castaway, catch me if you can, apollo 13, a league of their own, terminal etc etc

Harrison ford was han solo in the original star wars film and indiana jones also in what lies beneath and many others

Clint eastwood not seen many he was in a lot of westerns. i remember watching him in a film when i was little called every which way but loose where his co-star was an orangutan-interesting!

if you are interested in films and actors then go on internet movie database. its a great website which you can type in an actors name and they will tell you every film the have been in, or type in a film and they will list all actors.

oh my dear god. harrison ford is indiana jones.. are you kidding?? tom hanks has made some of the best movies of all time.. and clint eastwood is a freaking genius at directing and acting. seriously this is sad.

you wanna study film but dont know who those actors are?? you got a long way to go....

clint eastwood? OMG!! i cant believe you dont know him either!!! ----DIRTY HARRY, the good the bad and the ugly, every which way but loose, pale rider, the rookie, etc....

Go to www.google.com...hit enter...type a name in the little box...for example T-O-M_H-A-N-K-S...hit search....there will be a list of source links to choose from...click on the first link...this will display information about who Tom Hanks is. You can repeat the above steps for each respective name. You can really get adventerous if you Google other names as well.

Look out Harvard...here comes Jimbo.

If you hope to study film one day, it's strange that you would also say that you don't watch many movies. The three actors you mention are not only well-known, they are also three of the most popular of all-time.
Tom Hanks is a two-time Academy Award winner (for Forrest Gump and Philadelphia) and was also in Appolo 13 and Castaway, among others.
Harrison Ford was in the original Star Wars trilogy as well as playing the title character in the Indiana Jones series.
Clint Eastwood has appeared in many westerns, including two of the best (in my opinion) - The Outlaw Josey Wales and Unforgiven. His acting talen has often been underrated, and he is also a two-time Academy Award winner as a director

Here are some details:

Tom Hanks

Thomas Jeffrey "Tom" Hanks (born July 9, 1956) is a two-time Academy Award- and Emmy-winning and four-time Golden Globe Award-winning American film actor, director, voice-over artist, writer and film producer. Hanks worked in television and family-friendly comedies before achieving notable success as a dramatic actor in Philadelphia and Forrest Gump. He is also one of only three actors in the history of film to have seven consecutive US$100 million blockbusters, the two other being Tom Cruise and Will Smith.

His movies:"Cast Away","Polar Express" and other movies etc.

Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford (born July 13, 1942) is an Academy Award-nominated, Golden Globe- and Saturn Award-winning American actor. Ford is best known for his performances as the tough, wisecracking space pilot Han Solo in the original Star Wars trilogy and as the adventurous archaeologist and action hero Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr. in the Indiana Jones film series. He is also known for his role as the haunted android tracker Rick Deckard in Ridley Scott's sci-fi cult film Blade Runner (1982), but his four-decade career also included roles in other Hollywood blockbusters such as Air Force One and The Fugitive. At one point, Ford had roles in the top five box-office hits of all time, though his role in 1982's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (as Elliot's school principal) was deleted from the final cut of the film. Five of his films have been inducted into the National Film Registry.

He was ranked #1 in Empire magazine's "The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time" list. As of May 2007, the domestic box office grosses of Ford's films total about US$3.10 billion,[1] with worldwide grosses approaching $6 billion, making Ford the No. 3 domestic box-office star behind Eddie Murphy and Tom Hanks.

His movies:"Firewall","Indiana Jones" and other movies etc.

Clint Eastwood

Clinton Eastwood, Jr. (born May 31, 1930) is an Academy Award-winning American film director, actor, producer, and composer. He has won Academy Awards five times - twice each as Best Director and as producer of the Best Picture; he received the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award in 1995.

While his work as a director, on recent films like Letters from Iwo Jima and Million Dollar Baby, and also earlier films like High Plains Drifter and The Outlaw Josey Wales, have received a high degree of critical acclaim, Eastwood is best known for his tough guy, anti-hero acting roles typically in western films. Most notably as the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone's "Dollars trilogy" of Spaghetti Westerns of the 1960s, and Inspector 'Dirty' Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry series of the 1970s and 1980s.

His movies:"Revenge Of The Creature","Tarantula" and other movies etc.

A good place to check to learn more would be www.imdb.com and then rent ALL of their movies and learn from them if you even have prayer at getting into film school at Harvard.

Your parents having a lot of money will not necessarily get you into a school if you don't have the grade or talent to match

Also study all of the works of Dustin Hoffman, Robert DeNiro, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Smith, Robert Rodriguez, Peter Jackson, David Twohey, Peter Bogdonavich, David Lynch, Tim Burton, Francis Ford Coppola, Dino De Laurentiis, Jerry Bruckheimer, Dick Wolfe, Ron Howard, M. Night Shyamalan, Sofia Coppola, and newcomer Michael Davis.

Also, star NOW producing your own films and be ready to present several sample, hopefully that you have already submitted to many film festivals and won at least some awards, with your application.
