If there's one favorite movie that I can choose, and it has to be a 2007 release, I'll go with "Transformers", the best sci-fi/action box office smash since 1977's "Star Wars". While I never watched the film theatrically, I've heard a lot of it through news articles and the Internet, and when I get a little jealous of anyone who knew one of my school classmates, watched the film, and said "'Transformers' is the best movie ever!", I feel alone in the world who hasn't seen the Autobots fighting the Decepticons. But by last December, I bought the DVD and, upon watching the film, I didn't feel alone in my circle of friends who hasn't seen "Transformers" anymore.
Now I need to pay attention to more updates on movie re-makes of giant robot cartoons so that I can watch them.
My favorite of 2007 was 'Stardust' - it was a really original film and it had a great cast. Too bad that it didn't do better at the box office.
There were soooo many good ones but I loved the movie Stardust.
Transformers. Great FX, brilliant action scenes, lots of laughs, very likeable actors, (especially the robots' voices) -- the most fun I had at the movies in 2007.
Rambo, it brought a close to the series.
