...if you can find it in your area (...it just opened, but for limited releasing), I would most highly recommend George A. Romero's "Diary of the Dead". You know lately, zombie movies have come, and zombie movies have gone, and for the most part, they have gotten to be pretty tired, generic and run-of-the-mill; however, leave it to the master, Mr. George Romero, to once again take the genre, which he created with the original "Night of the Living Dead", and give it a new spin/perspective...
...as with his previous 'living dead' entries, Romero once again underlines the typical grotesque, bloody and desperate proceedings, with a poignant and acidic commentary associated with present-day society...in this case, the hazards, dangers and obsessions, regarding the information highway and the internet, with regards to the ease of accessing, acquiring, manipulating and producing what is visual, and how dangerous that ability can be, especially since anyone with a video camera/cell phone can do it with relative ease, now...
...if you have to go out of your way to find and see this film (...that is, unless it is already online someplace, ironically reflecting the subplot of the movie itself), then by all means, do so; you will not be disappointed!!!
