I remember this film so well though it's been a long time since I've seen it. I'm sure I have a copy of it in my videotape collection.
NOTE: Director/writer Mark L. Lester also gave us "Class of 1984" (1982), which does cause some confusion at times~~1984 vs. 1999. Basically, it's a not-very-good knockoff of "Blackboard Jungle".

wtf?! amovie where the teachers are robots and the kids are being chased by motorcycles?! wtf? i know a great old movie you should watch after that horror, like a medicine after a really bad clam, it's called "some like it hot"and it trull is hot. mhhm.

Check "THE CLASS OF 1984". See if that is it. I saw Freedom Writers, but it is a new 2007 movie. Look through teacher - gang teen movies 1980-1990 and search titles and content.
