The Exorcist (1973) is the scariest movie ever followed by The Omen (1976) and Halloween (1978). Most "scary" movies today are just bloody, gory and just plain disgusting.

Amen

home videos of you as a child

"Bush the sequel." Nooooooooooooo! The Horror!!!

slash

i'd say disturbia b/c it was scary in the sense that it could happen to anyone, i mean we all have that one weird and scary neighbor

saw!

i wouldn't say scariest but that devils rejects movie just put me in a state of mind that was just crazyyyyyyyyyyyyy man

Tremors I II and III

for me it was the exorcist. the version that came out on its anniversary with extra scenes. for some reason it really scared me.

Resident Evil

you know what spooked me Maximum Overdrive and IT.

Rob Zombies "Devils Rejects" is cruel, not scary (and very well done). Thje scariest movies are the ones with a solid story and visual effects. My choice is the original Exorcist movie because it is scary, interesting, and can challenge one's belief. Don't be put off by the fact that it's an older movie...quality is timeless.

umm... i would have to say... any of the exorcist movies... my aunt saw one of the exorcist movies back in the day when it came out in the theaters. she didnt go to sleep for a week and a half.. she was soo scared.

The Haunted - supposedly based on real life events

Nightmare part 1 or pet cemetery

friday the 13th part1

arachnophobia, since I'm scared of spiders.

Shining w/ Jack Nickelson is a good one. Danny doesn't live here anymore Mrs. Torrence".

Or, Attack of the Killer Clowns from Outer Space". As a kid, you don't ever want to go to the circus.

The Exorcist and evil dead

Rob Zombie's version of HALLOWEEN I would say is his best. But, for me the scariest movie I had ever seen was FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH part 3.
