thank you!

I liked it. It looks like they left room for a sequel. It is about a kid who can "jump" or teleport anywhere in the world. After years of useing his gift he finds out that there are others like him and there is this secret society of people who want to kill them. These people find out about him and begin trying to get him. And so starts the chase. He meets another jumper along the way and has this girlfriend that gets caught up in the middle. It was good.

I saw it yesterday and I LOVED it! the lead role is so hot!! I think teens will like it best (I'm a teenager) It's not scary and the special affects are awesome!!!!! I have to own it!!

Jumper is an excellent and original sci-fi movie.

Boy discovers that he can jump from place to place, as long as he can see the place he is 'jumping' too (even a picture will do).
The he discovers that a group of assassins called the Paladins are after him, and also that he is not alone.

There are others that can jump too, and he meets a British lad and teams up with him for a short while.

The boy's childhood sweetheart also becomes embroiled in the events, and he ends up having to rescue her in the end.

The movie is suitable for ages 12 yrs and upwards.

I don't feel like writing one long response, so I'll just answer the questions one by one.

1. Yes, I've seen it.

2. No, it's awful (stiff acting, terrible dialogue, banal special effects, etc.).

3. Jumper is about a teenager who learns that he has the power to teleport. Eight years later (after moving from home and robbing a bank to become rich, which really is a smart and sensible plan, don't you think?), he (played blandly by Hayden Christensen) is confronted by the Paladins (led by none other than Samuel L. Jackson as Roland), a race destined to kill any Jumper they can find. Why? I dunno! They don't tell us (other than Jackson's one line: "Only God should have that power." Okaaaaaay....)! Hayden's character escapes Roland and tries to find his childhood sweetheart. They go to Rome and there he learns that a war exists between the Jumpers and the Paladins. Then the rest of the movie is basically a bunch of fight scenes. Seriously, don't waste your time with this.

4. Ten-to-twelve-year-olds will probably like this the most.

5. It is nowhere NEAR suspenseful or scary. In fact, it's extremely dull and predictable.

It's OK, but not terribly good. Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson are possibly two of the worst actors in Hollywood. Although they are both infinitely attractive, Hayden is wooden, he shows very little expression, and Rachel's like a deer in headlights. The best actors that are in the movie are painfully misused. Samuel L. Jackson's role is almost silly, and they don't use Diane Lane to her full advantage (she has a total of three scenes in the movie).

The idea is cool and the special effects are nice, but they story isn't as developed as it could be and there are a lot of plot holes. In all honesty, I think the script, especially the dialogue, is terrible.

Yes, I've seen it, and it's great!!!!!!!!!! I loved it!
It's about a guy that has the ability to "jump" or teleport to any place in the world. There are some bad guys that want to kill everyone that can "jump".
No, it's not scary at all.
Ages, we'll I think it's for teenagers and young adults.
