2008 Academy Awards Polls. Who's the best actress ?!
Question: MARION COTILLARD is the best actress. I don't think most ppl in the Academy will pick her because majority of them might not even see her movie, La Vie en Rose. I have seen Ellen Page ( Juno )and Julie Christie( Away from Her), these nominees are good performer. But none this year come close to Marion Cotillard great performance in La Vie en Rose. Who will you vote for Best Actress for the 2008 Academy Awards ?

I know!! Everyone prefers Juno since they've seen it, but it is unfair to judge without having seen all the films.
I did think Julie Christie produced a very poetic performance and Laura Linney was superb, but Marion deserves it, hands down!!!
However, I do think you have to see all the films and La Vie en Rose has been gaining momentum and hype since last year and she did win the BAFTA and Golden Globe. I'm hoping!!

i honestly can't judge fairly, because i haven't seen away from her or la vie en rose. i have seen juno, and ellen page was great in it. but i'm sure marion cotillard and julie christie were great too, i just haven't seen the movies.
i've read in newspapers that they think julie christie will win, and ellen page has more time since she's younger but i don't know.
