Question: Hi people I am trying to think of this film I watched as a Kid but has no idea what it it’s called. The only scene I can remember is a gang of people on horses riding to the beach and one of the horse riders was wearing a scarecrow mask it is in colour but is set in the olden days but when I can’t remember, if anyone can give a list of films that sound similar would be great.

Doctor Syn (alias the Scarecrow) with Patrick McGoohan. They did make a film of it tho it was meant for a TV series.

Yes, that was Dr Syn Alias the Scarecrow.
There have been a few versions of the tale, the best of which was Captain Clegg (aka Night Creatures), a 1962 Hammer horror version. Classic.
