At the end of the last episode Kate was in trial for what she did before the plane crash and she kept saying something about "her" son. Well she got off on the charges because Jack testified that she saved their (only 8, and 2 died) lives on the island and that she was a good person. Then she went home, to a huge house, and went up stairs to see her son and a blonde little boy woke up and said "mommy" and she hugged him and said his name "Aaron" implying that it was Claires baby. Then it went off...
Still not sure who is right though, I think I would have killed Lock and stayed on the island because of the fact no one really knows what will happen when they leave. They have houses and everything they need there so why not just stay?
