I like them both.Liked the Die Hard and Lethal Weapon movies.They are both succesful in their own ways but Mel Gibson has the edge because he directed Braveheart and won best director for it.You should have compared Mel Gibson vs Kevin Costner because they are actors as well as directors.

I'd say Mel Gibson was more successful and talented.
Neither is outstanding,in my opinion.
I personally think Bruce is the better actor but love them both. Cannot beat a bit of Die Hard but Lethal Weapon is brilliant.... I can't choose, I can't choose, don't make me choose!

Bruce! Saw him on Johnathan Ross a few months ago and he was so modest and just really nice. I love him particularly in Pulp Fiction - he's too old for me, but there's something hot about him...
I like them both and both have had great success in films. I prefer Bruce Willis, though. The only Mel Gibson films I truly like are the Lethal Weapon series. I think the Die Hard series was better than the LW series!

B.willis is def a better actor than M.gilbson. Though there r some movies such as brave heart that show what a good performer gibson is, anyways i would not compare him to willis.

Bruce as McClane was brilliant down to unbelievable through the 4 films.
