Halo 3 Movie/Peter Jackson/WTF 2016?!?!
Question: I read somewhere Peter F#ckin Jackson is filming the Halo movie? Someone told me he won't start it till 2016 because it is to advaced? And plus he'll screw it up! You saw the L.O.T.R. trilogy it got worse every film!

Yes it is Peter Jackson, as for 2016....
The whole situation is pretty much Microsoft, Bungie and Universal coming to some sort of agreement on exactly what they are going to do. The props and places are already being picked out and manufactured for the movie when it begins production though.... So I would guess a summer 2010 at the latest.
But on the bright side..
Halo Wars comes out summer 2008..
Followed by Halo:chronicles for Xbox 360, and that was supposed to be the new Trilogy for the Xbox360 that plays more like a movie rather than the regular video game. Which im sure will connect somehow to the movie the following year.
Hopefully Bungie can let Halo be "their" movie and not let PJ get too carried away.
