Exorcist original vs The Beginning.?!
Question: I was just wondering which was more horrifying. I've only seen The Beginning and it was okay (didn't really scare me). I'm thinking about watching the original though. How much more scary is it. (I'm 14 btw if that means anything).

The original is much better. I would ask your parents if it is ok, due to a certain scene that is pretty vulgar.
The Exorcist is one of the scariest horror films ever made...

The original starring Linda Blair is far creepier. If I were you I would watch it in the daytime, with a few friends. Even though it was made in the 70's it will still scare the **** right out of you.
The original. It's sort of long winded in that 70's build up kinda way. It sorta chugs along slowly but then before you know it you're just scared kinda s@#$less. It is seriously, deeply, and truly creepy. Try The Shining with Jack Nicholson too.

All the other Exorcist movies didn't do anything for me.
The original! There is only one horror movie remake that does justice to the original and thats Rob Zombies Halloween. I don't care what time of day you watch Exorcist it will scare the **** out of you especially if you have some religion.
The Original is one of the Best movies to scare the crap out of you it just has something about that is scary as h*ll but the Begining is one of the worse movies i have see there really are some movies that should have been left alone The Exorcist didn't need any sequels
Having watched each and every Excorist movie,
I can honestly say the Original is much better.
Linda Blair did a very good job portraying a possessed
little girl.
She went through hell during those scenes.
Much scarier than the others.
Go watch,and see for yourself.
I guarantee you sleep afterwards.
