For the life of me, I cannot remember the title to this movie???!
Question: Definitely a French film, it had something to do with a couple of street musician roommates, who are asked to hold a large bag for a friend; what they didn't know is that their friend is a drug dealer, and the bag is full of money. The two friends open the bag and find this out, and at first they freak out, but eventually, they decide to use some of of the money to pay the late rent of their apartment; after that, they dip into the bag more and more, buying stuff for themselves.....and then their friend comes back for the bag!!!

...I don't think that it was a French film, because I think that you are thinking of the 1988 comedy, "Sticky Fingers", which starred Helen Slater...
I've never seen it, sorry
