It might make u 2 jump. just watch it in the afternoon. it wont be scary at all. but if u DID watch saw, then u could watch it at night or when its starting to get dark.
its a 2 in the light.
its a 7 in the dark.

The blair witch project is extremely scary under these conditions
1. It HAS to be dark
2. You live in or by a forested area
3. You have a huge imagination
It shouldnt be scary if
1. You watch it in the daytime, then you will be laughing more.

2. You dont frighten that easy Report It

If his parents let him watch Saw I can't see him being scared of the Blair Witch. Its basically a bunch of people running away from nothing in some woods.

depends how you watch it. At 1am with the curtains drawn it's pretty scary. I'll admit I jumped a lot. If you watch it in the afternoon it's a lil rubbish. But what's a 12 year old doing watching Saw???

Saw is by far way scarrier than the Blair Witch. Blair Witch when it first came out and about a year after was frightening, but soon stopped when everybody got sick of hearing about it. The camera movements may make you throw up as it is all on like a handycam, but other than that nothing big.

I think the Blair Witch Project would be scarier just because it was a low budget movie and it is really...creepy. I don't know. I think he should wait and watch something else. I know I hate scary movies though...if you like them maybe you should see it but preview it first.

    It's not scary at all.

I agree totally with Caity. Saw is way way scarier than Blair Witch project. I thought Blair Witch Project was retarded. Three grown people running around being scared to death by some sticks in the woods. It was way over hyped garbage.

I think whatever "The Blair Witch Project"had in it's intial release(I still can't believe the buzz!) is long gone, mostly because everyone is tired of hearing how"innovative"and "sensational"it was.I mean, anyone with with a camcorder can go out now and do the same thing! The one thing that worked for me was NOT seeing the actual"witch" and the ending in the basement was well done. But,after the Godawful"Blair Witch 2" I think we're done.
    (Oh wait! I DO have a camcorder!HMMMmmm...)

    I would say a "2"...

It's more creepy than scary. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would and I'm an avid horror movie watcher.

just certain moments, but mainly the camera's just shaky.

Probabley a 1,the blair witch isn't really that scary at all.I found that movie to be rather dumb & a waste of money to see. It's basically about rocks & sticks in a symbol of some sort & people running in the forest over nothing.hahah
