Rocky movies question?!

Question: Do you ever notice through out the fights from each movie Rocky gets beaten to a pulp and gets knocked down in the first couples of rounds.
But then in the last couple of rounds all of a sudden he comes back miraclesy and then wins the fight on the last minute!!!!!!!!

The street fight at the end of Rocky 5 is a prime example of that!!

Apart from the usual boring "It's just a movie" answers ...

The Rocky (& many other) movies are made this way so we can all root for the hero. Willing him to get up & face his advisary once more.
Face it, wouldn't they all get a bit rubbish if the good guy had an easy ride of it?

Your point being?

Rocky is not the only movie that happens in. Most action movies are that way.

yeah sadly thats what happens in all boxing movies - hero gets betten up but wins, not just rocky films.

spoiler***********- didn't he lose due to pts? in rocky 5- was that rocky balboa?********

spoiler off, check out best of the best - martial arts film, where the goodies in the tournament lose.

Its not real its just a movie and thats how the script was written

He gets beaten to a pulp then comes back because it's only a movie ! Plus thats just the way Sylvestor Stallone writes Stories & and screenplays. Anyone who knows movies will tell you the first rocky movie was the best, it's the realest when talking about a good screen play, plot, real boxing and movie.

After the first Rocky movie, he is'nt a Boxer; hes a super hero.

Rocky Balboa always trains hard for his fights. But he is driven not just by his own physcial endurance but also by self-respect.

He rose from a nobody to become a somebody. He owes a lot of his stamina to his first trainer Mickey who unfortunately died in Rocky III. As they though say it 'aint over till it's over!

Rocky keeps do it in movies because they want us to see that he is an underdog we cheer for. He keeps winning everytime (except in the last one, and I think in the first Rocky too) or comes close to winning so that we feel good about ourselves that we "believed" in a winner when nobody else (pretty much just the characters in the movie) would.

So even though he is already a champ to start off some of them, they still find a way to make him look like an "underdog," because nobody wants to cheer for a jerk that keeps winning in life.

Good real life example: THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

About 6 years ago, they were a huge underdog team going into the superbowl with a quarterback that has very little experience. Everyone was sooooo happy that they won. (I was too because they are my favorite team.) But then they went on and won 2 more, HOW DARE THEY, now they are jerks that keep winning, even though they aren't cocky at all and are just like another team in the NFL.

Then they had a chance to be the 1st team to go 19-0, but everyone cheered for the Giants because they were the underdog team.

I don't think they were the only team that "cheated," I think teams still do that today but no one bothers to investigate them because they don't win as much as the Patriots.

Its a MOVIE
