No question Harry is cooler and more laid back. But without a doubt Riggs is a better long distance shooter/all round shooter. If you recall in the first Lethal Weapon, Riggs was a "sniper" in Vietnam and picks off guys in the dessert during the rescue attempt. Harry just uses a hand canon to destroy perps, Riggs can shoot them from miles away, or fight them kung-fu style in the front yard. Riggs all the way.

Harry Callaghan. He remained as hard as nails where Riggs just ended up a parody of himself. The Riggs from LW1 would have knocked the living sh*t out of 2 3 and 4 Riggs.

Martin Riggs was an expert marksman, which comes from being Special Forces trained, he could shoot any thing from any distance.
Harry Callaghan was (his persona & attitude aside) just a cop.
