i actually did like the movie. the scenery was gorgeous, the score was lovely and it was tom cruise at his very best. i habe difficulty with so much violence, but it was necessary for the telling of the story.

Started of terriffic and then it began to fade into a fairy tale type story as it went on. Too much attention paid to Cruise and the love affair.
I'm a fan of anime and japanese fight movies and was a little sure i wouldn't like it but it turned out to be good, even better it was cool. i think it's overlooked and underrated. i've seen it a couple of times and liked it more each time.
