Your list suggests some off beat, quirky and enigmatic storylines, as well as commercial comedy and romance, so here goes a quick list I think you will enjoy (if you have not already).
1. The Tao of Steve- Indie comedy about love and philosophy.
2. The Zero Effect- Bill Pullman as the world's greatest Pvt. Detective.
3. Thank you for Smoking- Jason Reitman's film before Juno. Great adaptation of the book.
4. Diggers- Paul Ruud and an ensemble cast about 1970's oyster fisherman that is quite compelling and poignant.
5. City of Lost Children- Sci-fi tale that is so imaginative and well made.
6. Living in Oblivion- A humorous take on the making of an indie film with Steve Buscemi as director.
7. Mr. Brooks- A look at the inner mind of a serial killer with Kevin Costner (yeah, I know he's almost as reviled as Michael Douglas, but he's great here).
If you like English films (gentility and subtle humor), these next two are for you.
8. Cold Comfort Farm- An early Kate Beckinsale film comedy.
9. An Ideal Husband- Cate Blanchette and a great cast of Oscar Wilde's play.
10. You Kill Me- Ben Kingsley as an alcoholic hitman trying to get clean, with Tea Leoni and Luke Wilson.
