It think it will depend more on who directs it. T3, directed by Jonathan Mostow, wasn't all that great even **with** Arnie.

I think a better question would be, do we really need another Terminator sequel? T2 is one of the best sci-fi/action movies ever made, but the franchised was cheapened with T3. Now there's the TV show. I say enough already. Arnold is staying away for good reason.

Hecks yeah because they are replacing Arnold with Christian Bale.

I think it's possible. They can have the metal robot "skeleton" of the Terminator that he played.

The "bad" guys in T2 and T3 were shape-shifters anyway - so they can be anyone.

If the main 2 people (John Connor and his "girlfriend") from T3 are still in it, the story should be contiguous enough to be enjoyable.

I agree with Gir. Christian Bale is going to play a great Jon Conner. Especially as it relates to the future Terminators. I just had read that Christian had signed up to do three terminator movies.

I thing the question should be "Will another Terminator sequel be any good ?"
The first was excellent, very original. The 2nd was also very good, but the 3rd was horrible.
If they make a 4th, they are going to have to have more scenes from the war between man and machine. Number 3 promised this in the previews but failed to deliver.

However, the Sarah Conner Chronicles on Fox have been great. I haven't missed an episode.
