Tom cruise best performance? and Why?!
Question: His best performance for me has got to be The Last Samurai . He is not my favorite actor, but i do watch some of his movies, and yes Legendwas good but Tim Curry's part outshined Cruise's by a mile. and A few good men was great, so was the firm. but i thought that The Last Samurai was a great movie. This was a movie done after "Tom went a little wild" so I thought it was going to bomb really bad, but he did a great job in the movie.

Jumping on Oprah's couch! was very confident and brave to make such a fool of himself. He really put his all into the performance.

I would have to say A Few Good Men because he had to act up against Jack Nicholson and that's intimidating enough!
I hate his more recent movies, but he was really good in "Interview with a Vampire". I loved the book and when I heard he was cast for the role, I thought it was a mistake. But he proved my opinion wrong.

Legend was his single best film. It was before he got all weird and creepy with his current lifestyle. Aside from that, he's never been appealing to me at all.
I enjoyed Far and Away. I like that the historic aspect of the discrimination against the Irish was brought to light.
