Question: that doesn't make sense!! Rambo?? how can a guy do that? Rambo is not a date movie, IT'S RAMBO!! Rambo brings back the violence that we haven't gotten since the 80's, unlike movies of 2day the Rambo movies are BLOODY HARDCORE ACTION!! Mutilation, blood, when i was at the movies, the girls there were either screaming, gasping, or fainting. Rambo is a guy's film! Action films are meant for guys, movies like 300 or Bourne which appeal to men and women are not real action.

because it's an obvious guy movie. so the guy is telling her, "i don't care what you want, it's all about me." and EVERYBODY knows that girls like @ssholes, not nice guys.

Agree, rambo very disturbing, for the testostoes its a bit of a turnon and hillarious. but to most its very gritty. shocking scenes of kids and women getting decapated, not tasetfull but arty. I thought it was an ok war movie, stallone crossed the boundry and pushed the limits and it worked to some extinct for the pureist. Better than his previous rocky attempt but caution is warned.

i love loads, goodfellas, a bronx tale, scarface, infact i would be pretty disapointed if my fella took me to watch a silly rom com! be insulting! i want action blood and gore lol and yep i still like pink!

im just saying i have watched the latest rambo with my fella at the cinema and it was a great film....even though sly has aged a tad...it was way better than rocky balboa! even though i adore the rocky films, it didnt do anything for me!

I went to see the new rambo last night and actually really enjoyed it. it didnt make me uncomfortable. and terminator 2 is one of my favourtie films ever. And the Die Hard movies are awesome! Violence can add a lot to a film, and you can become pretty desensitized to it if you watch enough, since you know its not real.

I'm not sure it is a question of action vs other genre. It's a matter of taste. Your right though, Rambo is a very distasteful flick. It bugs me that movies like this are coming out all the time when decent scripts are being shelved because there weren't enough people dying or blowing up. I saw a version of this show on the Internet (cause really no one should have to pay real money to watch that crud) and it was awful. I have personally seen some messed up things happen to human bodies and there is no need to recreate that stuff in the movies. Besides, while on a date, aren't you supposed to be trying to set a mood? Twisted.
