Pretty much any of the big name blockbusters that have come out in the last... forever. I like movies with some substance, and that is why indie flicks are the best. Because nine times out of ten if a big name studio is putting it out, it is going to blow.
I'm apparently a freak for not liking Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings. But since when did warlocks and hobbits become a cool thing anyway? What's the world coming to ;)
I'm not a fan of the gore-fest movies. I may like them if there was at least a little suspence as to what was about to happen.
Horror films should scare people. Not make them laugh at the stupidity.
Damn formulatic romantic comedies. Those American Pie frat-boy type movies. Also, any movie that is like Saw: I don't want to see torture or elaborate rape scenes. It may surprise you, but I don't find those enjoyable at all.
I CAN'T stand Star Wars series. I could never understand how the movies could get big bucks at the box office and numerous followers...
I love Spider-Man, but I hated all other comic book based movies like the Hulk, Daredevil, and the most recent Superman movie.
I also hated the Blair Witch Project. Everyone told me how scary that was. The only scary part of that movie was that I paid to see it!
The only thing I can't tollerate are all of those gruesome and aweful horror movies... everyone thinks a good movie with tons of suspense and horror is good because they loved being scared! Well I don't! >:(
Reason why I can't stand like the Grudge and Saw movies... or anything else for that matter; or Lady in the Water! >:(
The only movies I can stand that have a bit of horror are only the few best vampire movies; being the only ones are Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Dam*ed, and even The Lost Boys! The are the only movies I do like! :D

I hate titanic, high school musical movies, daddy day care, cheaper by the dozen, pretty much anything with young drug addict hollywood retards like paris hilton, lindsay lohan, tara reid, hillary duff, hailie duff, miley cyrus, and most chick flicks, even the most popular ones.
I can't stand anything that comes from the American Horror shelf. Americans just don't cut it . They can't create the right atmosphere and there scares are so generic that I can tell exactly the moment of every scare. You're not scared by the predictable.....
American remakes of famous Asian horror films are the worst. The Ring got close to the same eariness at one point then just when you thought they had it they dropped the ball again. The even released as THE Ring here in Australia when it is simply call RING. The Grudge movies again were pathetic remakes.
A new remake I saw was The Eye starring Jessica Alba. They messed with the plot as usual screwed around to much and failed yet again. Though I admit they did a good job with their version of the Reapers. They were on par with the original and actually gave me chills
I hated Pulp Fiction too - totally overrated!!
Also .. Harry Potter (sorry HP fans dont kill me!) .. Lord of the Rings .... Rush Hour ...
Romantic comedies are all pretty awful. The latest trend in "horror" movies or fictional snuff is garbage. I give Hollywood props once in a while, but most of the stuff is just commercial crap.

first movie that came into my mind is LOTR...
tried watching it for a few times.... but ended up sleeping... they said the movie installments are good. but i can't get thru with the first one...
The entire comedy genre which includes romantic comedies. I have been told I have a great sense of humor so that isn't an issue, but Hollywood comedies are just not funny. They used to be in the 50s but not anymore.

I don't get the whole horror genre either. Seriously what is up with neverending Saw installments (the first one was stupid enough)? With films like Hostel, it seems like there is no imagination left anymore and people are so jaded and numb by what they have seen that it doesn't faze them one bit when they get gorier and gorier with no plot.
I was forced to sit through several viewings of Harry Potter and I hated every single one. Maybe if I was much younger I might appreciate the series more.
Most popular dramas I can't sit through.
I wouldn't say I'm a film snob by any means but there are lots of actors who have no talent and many films which never should have been made or remade.

I can't stand the Pirates of the Carabean films. Poor acting (apart from Depp), rubbish script, boring action scenes...I don't get it!

that's the lamest movie i ever watch, i was watching at the theatre and my friend was laughing pretty much and so do some people beside us, and i stand up and said out loud (for real); 'You are a pathetic human being..'
and straight away leave the theatre..!! :P
