Jumanji and Zathura?!
Question: ok ive been watching these 2 movies and noticed that they both had the same plot in the movie the boy in Jumanji and the boy in Zathura both cheeted and also its based on a game so like did Zathura stea the plot or just edited it to his enjoyment?

really you can say the plot was stolen from Jumanji, because Jumanji came out 10 years earlier than Zathura. though i think its considered more of a sequel as imdb calls it. its not a sequel like same characters and same game, but its the same idea. the books of both movies were written by the same guy, so i wouldn't really consider it to be a stolen plot.

Zathura is amazing but Jumanji is a classic
so basically yes Zathura did steal the whole idea of the movie.

Actually, both movies are based on books by the same author, Chris Van Allsburg. Van Allsburg actually wrote the screen play for Jumanji as well.
