Ferngully would be a good one for her to watch. Sleeping Beauty is good.

There is a Little Mermaid II. Has she seen that?
How old? Aquamarine is a good one for maybe ages 6 and up.
Ferngully is one my girls liked. The main character is a fairy.

Totally switching gears, my youngest went nuts for horses after seeing Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron when she was 2?. She's almost 8 now, and it's still one of her favorites. We even have the soundtrack album, which has some great songs by Brian Adams and Sarah McLachlan (sp?).

Seapeople. It's best if she saw this at like, the age of 9-12.

I work at Blockbuster and there is this new barbie movie called "Mariposa" which is butterfly in spanish, you should check it out, your daughter would probably like it.

Elina knows that it's difficult feeling like you don't belong, so when Bibble decides not to visit a friend for fear of not fitting in, Elina relates the story of a butterfly fairy named Mariposa who loves to read and dream about the stars and the worlds beyond her land, but never quite feels like she fits in with her fellow fairies. Flutterfield was once a land of frightened fairies forced to hide in darkness from the monster-like Skeezites who devour butterfly fairies, but is now ruled by kind. . .

My neice loves Cindrerlla and Aladdin. Try Fern Gully...that has fairies in it.

Ratatuille

Ghostbusters....

She might like "Cinderella" and "Alice in Wonderland". If she is old enough to like "The Bratz" dolls, there is a movie out about them. as well. :D

the princess diary movies
the last unicorn

If she likes cartoons, you should try a Hayao Miyazaki film. My Neighbor Totoro is a good one for young children. Some, like Princess Mononoke, are a little violent and are for older audiences. Spirited Away is another good one, and maybe Kiki's Delivery Service. The protagonists are girls (age 5-9 or so in Totoro, 10 in spirited away and 13 in Kiki). They are uplifting and pleasant but adventurous. Miyazaki is known as the "Walt Disney of Japan." I've never seen a movie of his I didn't enjoy.

If your little girl loves princesses, she should see Enchanted. If she loves fairies, she should see the new Tinker Bell movie that's coming soon. If she loves mermaids, she should see Splash. I hope this answers your questions.
