Question: Do some girls like Pirates of the Carribean (50%...or more) just because Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom is in it? There might be other reasons why they might like the movie, but is Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom the main reason 50% of girls or more like the movie?

I originally watched the movie because my husband wanted to see it and I found that I really loved it because it was a family movie. Yes those two actors were cute but that isn't the reason why I liked the movie. Johnny Depp acted very well in the movie. I liked it also because the story line was very interesting, it held my attention and the effects were nice too.

Well I'm no girl, but with all the JD an OB fans out there, I'm sure there are a lot who simply like the movie for the actors. Quite a pity, b/c I liked Pirates (well, the first one...)

Are you kidding me? I have honestly told my friends that if I could marry the POTC franchise I would. It's not only Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom's rugged good looks, but I am absolutely in love with the music. I have all three soundtracks and listen to them constantly. The acting is also amazing. I love everything about POTC and it gives me shivers even when I think about it!
lol I loved that movie because it was a great movie! It was entertaining and funny. And personally my fave person in that movie was Elizabeth! She rocked that role. Sure seeing Johnny Depp was an added bonus but the story line was great!

Orlando and Depp is part of the reason I like Pirates of the Caribbean but I like the story line and the visual effects also. And pirates are really interesting...
actually i watched the movie cause i liked the movie not just for the actors...i watch movies based on how good it is

The music is really nice...i ReAlly dont like orlando bloom. But without johnny depp it wouldnt be as funny but thats because he is a good actor. I mean the movie would suck without him rite? And the story line is also cool. But mainly the music :)

no it wouldnt matter if they were in it or not. i dont like them or there charactors cos they r hot or whatever but i like the way they both act and the charactors are really original and funny. the potc movies are one of my favourite movies. they are an excellent action/drama/comedy movie. you should really consider watching them . i think maybe alot of other girls might have originally watched it because they knew orlando and johnny were going to be in it.
The movies are great, but to be perfectly honest you can forget Depp and Bloom, its Geoffry Rush and Bill Nighy that do it for me. Phwoar!!
