Here is a simple rule...even numbered Trek movies (2,4,6,etc) don't suck.
They say that The Wrath of Khan is the best. It's pretty good, but I always thought that First Contact was the best.

the wrath of khan was the best original series movie, the best TNG was first contact.

Not that I always agree with it, but www.rottentomatoes.com has Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan as the highest rated Star Trek film. I must agree. So many great scenes and great lines came out of that film.
