I read online that it's true. There is a vaccine for cancer that people have been using, and it should be made public soon. Then, we are all gonna die, because we didn't listen to Will Smith (or Charlton Heston or Vincent Price, who played the character in the two previous versions of that story).

It's just a movie. it was based on a book written a long time ago. there is no truth whatsoever. no one can predict the future.
I think anyone who saw the movie will stay away from the cancer-curing scene for a while.
So I think it's safe to say no.
All i know is that we have 8 years to reverse Global Warming and that there will be a big earthquake or big Storm in 2009!

I doubt it. Only Astrodamus, the dude who lived centuries ago, has been able to predict world events like World War II and stuff like that. So check him out and see if he has anything planned for 2009.
i don't think it will happen next year but the idea of that happening in the future is not far fetched either. with all the medical discoveries, we can't really say for sure if they are 100% safe. there is a chance that viruses might mutate, genes might mutate. in darwin's theory of evolution, man came from apes. if that is possible, then there is a chance that a simple virus can become something else.
