Lethal Weapon (1987) or Die Hard (1988)?!
Question: Which of these two blockbuster action movies do you prefer and which one did you think was the most bloody and the most violent and why?

Die Hard all the way.
1. Bruce willis is more likeable
2. made the white vest the coolest piece of clothing?
3. Alan Rickman as the Villian (nice)
4. and the line "Yipee Kay Yay, M**her F**ker"
Overall funnier, more original and with better Deaths.
I wouldn't want to split them. I love them both.
Both of them are good fun, perfect examples of entertaining films.
As far as most "violent" probably Lethal Weapon. Die Hard had too much of Bruce's Moonlighting style of acting only with a bloody torn T-shirt, to be that violent.
Die Hard and Die Hard.
It's a better and more exciting film, plus the action is better. I always watch it when it comes on TV, terrific film.

Die Hard. You know Bruce had to shoot ten or more. And if
it is blood, did you see the scene, he ran over broken glass.
But, I did enjoy Deadly weapon. It was a buddy type movie.
i like both. maybe lethal weapon little more. mel does a fine job.
There both good and excellent but i would say "die hard" would jsut be a bit better and there just too good to compare so..

Okay, Die Hard is probably the better film overall, but Lethal Weapon was darker (especially if you watch the deleted scenes too) & more interesting
Wow! Great question...It boils down to the heel ( bad guy) Mr. Joshua in LW. He was NUTS!!! One of the best in the genre. Then the man McClane! Come on the best everyman in the world of muscled Austrians and slack jawed Italians. Mr. Joshua did not have enough screen time as McClane did so I have to say DIE HARD!

Die Hard- I like them both, but for whatever reason I've always liked Die Hard more.

die hard, but they are both great action films.
Just as well its only the first in each, the choice is hard enough but i have to pick Die Hard, there is a lot of blood, particularily from McLaines feet plus when the various bad guys r being shot up- blood spurting everywhere.
