Dr. detroit?!

Question: shouldnt the death penalty apply to everyone involved in making, producing, and releasing this movie

Answers: shouldnt the death penalty apply to everyone involved in making, producing, and releasing this movie

...oh, please give Dan Akyroyd a break on this one, O.K.?? Story supposedly goes, the terrible death of the late John Belushi, who was virtually his brother, reportedly hit Dan pretty damn hard, but instead of succumbing to the depression, he felt that he had to do something therapeutic, as far as recovery, and so I understand that he obsessively buried himself in his music, and his comedy acting career; something as as outrageously light-hearted and cavity-inducing as "Doctor Detroit" seemed to fit, at the time...

...gotta candidly admit, "Doctor Detroit" is one of my personal guilty pleasures; indeed, the film is quite dumb, nutty and adolescent, but that's what made the film so outrageously fun; every time I play the film, I have to precede or follow-up with yet another similarly themed film, namely the equally adolescent and silly Ron Howard directed film, "Night Shift"...

...now, as far as the logic & the gumption in doing the proposed sequel, as promised right before the final credits, (...i.e., "Doctor Detroit II: The Wrath of Mom", which thankfully never happened), that's an entirely different story...

Well, I don't know about death, because Dan Akroyd used to have his funny moments on SNL, but I think some knees need to be broken!

No cause it was funny your prolly one of those people that think Napoleon Dynamite was funny

I had not heard that a movie is in the works. Can you provide a link?
