Do you collect random DVD's or Do you collect mostly on one actor?!
Question: I buy lots of random DVD's, but only if It's a movie I know I will watch over and over again. I also collect on my favorite actors and actresses. I will only buy DVD's with my favorite actors if it's a good movie. Some of my favorites have made some crappy movies. It has to be a good movie if I'm going to keep it.

If the movies looks good I'll buy it but I do mostly look for movies with my favorite actors/actresses in it.
I just buy what I would like to watch. It doesn't matter who's in it.
So I suppose my collection is very random.
Only movies I can stand to watch multiple times.
I usually just buy movies I like or if its cheap and I've heard its really good then I'll buy it.

I have a lot of Christina Ricci and Catherine Zeta Jones movies
i also buy randomly. i am a broke college kid, so i look in the cheapo bin for something that looks midly interesting. ive found some good stuff that way :]

and lots more but, mostly if the movie is really good and i will watch it like 20 times in one day.

i collect movies mostly by actors or directors.
My collection is very random, but it is mostly of movies that I have seen in the theater at some point in time first and liked enough to watch it at least a 2nd time..those that I don't like the 2nd time around go in the "Goodwill" donation bag.
While I have several favorite actors, I don't collect movies based on their work because an actor can only bring so much life to a bad script or meld so much to a mediocre director or sometimes, despite past successes by all parties, the movie turns out to be a stinker.
i usually go by director. i have heaps on james cameron, oliver stone, terry gilliam, peter weir and many more.
the actors are just meat puppets to me.
